STADIUM specifications were born within the AMA Supercross: technically speaking, their specifications derives from professional motocross racing equipments, and they are stiffer than their Motocross equivalents – both Midsoft’s and Midhard’s - and with structural damping parameters that enhance reaction rates when tackling the quick and rhythmed stresses from SuperCross sections.
Within typical SuperCross race, these equipments will results in enhanced promptness to engage the following action and mitigated stress on rider’s body.
Furthermore, STADIUM specifications are specifically designed to work preferably with tubes instead of mousses, extensively used by the majority of professional worldwide Motocross riders.
All STADIUM Specifications – which undergo seasonal technical updates based on a continuous development process - are developed with the clear intend of delivering the state-of-the art performance for AMA race tracks within official competitions.
Main Technical Features compared to Motocross MX32™’s
- Same ply amount as the deriving motocross size
- Stiffer carcasses than the deriving motocross size by featuring:
- dedicated ply angles
- higher ply pre-load
- dedicated breakers, still with minimal tuning from an architectural standpoint when compared to motocross versions
- stiffer sidewall compound
- Faster structural damping to tackle compact, hard-packed tracks featuring specific Supercross obstacles (whoop sections, rhythm sections, triple jumps)
- The combination of stiffness and STADIUM specification will float on multiple whoops with optimised response time
- STADIUM specifications are optimized for working with tyre tubes
